1963-1982 Corvette Fuel Tank Overflow Hose with 4 Ribs Repro Of GM 3768272
CAVEAT EMPTOR: our quality fuel resistant rubber hose is manufactured by an OEM supplier includes original design raised manufacturers identification marks, i.e. 4 ribs. DocRebuild was the first to offer this non standard size fuel hose as an exact accurate reproduction. Made in USA; not imported.
TIP: you could never bend our repro hose and photograph it like this Quanta repro - unless it was glued on to the back round. See the fifth jpeg above. Really where do they come up with this krap and keep a straight face.

CAUTION: Take a good look at the jpegs of this hose in zips online advertisements. The zip hose is kinked when slightly bent. This tells me the rubber material specification is too soft if it collapses under those terms. Our hose does not collapse when bent like those. Another vendor (CC) bought 10 of these hoses from us. A few weeks later they were returned. I then ordered one of theirs. To my shock: it had no ribs & was much thinner wall - the same as a radiator overflow. To put it politely: it was not even close to any original on any Corvette I have ever seen. I cannot fathom how a spring could be inserted into it.
FACT: This hose drains rainwater away from gas tank filler. If it gets clogged with detritus, leaves or other organic matter, you will get water in your gas tank. It's common with old Corvettes that were stored outside.
