You Should Watch this Video for 20+ years zip sold a BOGUS pattern
An Educated Consumer is Our Best Customer - said Sy Syms
zip finally changed the 68 pattern after my video came out.
That means for a couple of decades they sold a phony repro - do
you think they refunded any customers. Naaaaa - not happening.

HOW TO ID Early versus Late 1968: Examine you inner fender skirts
- if each has tiny staple holes = it is Early 1968;
- if each has 13 round holes = it is Late 1968
FACT: we were the very first to make this repro over 35 years ago. Years later all the subsequent repro's we made from the later 68-82 pattern and they are not the close to that original pattern. Some of those in this Corvette after market business are beaters & cheaters.
Below on the Left is a poor imitation repro. Below on the Right is our accurate repro made from an original GM sample. Note the Bogus one on the left: the short arm is too short & the lower is straight - not curved. plus there are no strain relief holes at the terminus of the slits & the material is not authentic Black masticated rubber.
