I have repeated Johnny's Obituary below, in case the above link disappears.
John A. Losak
John was gifted with an extraordinary mechanical talent. He rebuilt Helen's 1965 Ford Mustang engine and many cars he owned. He loved auto restorations and was in the process of restoring a 1968 Corvette. He attended many auto shows throughout the years.
While in high school, John worked as an Arthur Murray Dance Instructor teaching ballroom, salsa and contemporary dance lessons. He completed Karate/Martial Arts classes. After high school, he worked as a machinist before joining the Bridgeport Police Department in 1983 as a Patrol Officer. He rose to the rank of Sergeant working in Patrol, Internal Affairs, Supervisor of the Traffic Division and finally in the Detective Bureau. John retired from the Bridgeport Police Department with 35 years of dedicated service. Everyone he worked with and helped stated he was a nice person. Johnny will be greatly missed especially by his sister, Helen Olga, family and friends.
